Two students of the department receive an award


    At the 25th Annual Conference of the Canadian Biomaterials Society held in Calgary in May 2006, two graduate students received an award for their presentation. Maryse Touzin and Christian Sarra-Bournet, master students in the biomaterials department of Mining, Metallurgy and Materials, won a prize out of the four given for the best presentation in the oral presentation section (Maryse) and the poster presentation section (Christian). A total of 88 laboratory works on Biomaterials across Canada were presented. Congratulations to Christian and Maryse!
