Sebastien Meghezi was the president of the organizing committee of the annual conference of the Research Center of the Advanced Materials (CERMA, Québec).

This conference welcomed more than 100 participants, including academics (professors, professional researchers and students), industrials and journalists. This conference focused on 2 themes which were respectively “the invaluable tools of the students of CERMA for their professional career” (talks of former CERMA students on their own industrial career, talks on intellectual property and entrepreneurship) and “scientific vulgarization” (talk of a scientific journalist, flash oral presentations session, posters session).
